49 Cringe-Worthy Influencer Moments
1.
I’m fine with TikTokers in general, but the “pranksters” have got to be stopped. None of the pranks are ever funny. They’re just cruel.
2.
Is it just me, or do pranks almost always target minimum-wage employees?
3.
Target employees are NOT paid enough to have to deal with this.
4.
Neither are McDonald’s employees.
5.
It’s time to start arresting people for this kind of stuff.
6.
Someone’s going to get hurt. Also, I’m pretty sure this is assault.
7.
How does anyone think this is okay?
8.
Everyone who did this should at the very least be fined.
9.
Even pranks that don’t target innocent customers are annoying. People seem to lack a fundamental sense of self-awareness and courtesy.
10.
I can’t even imagine having the audacity required to just take up public spaces like this.
11.
The whole “exposure” thing pisses me off, too. As this tattoo artist points out, exposure doesn’t pay bills!
12.
And expecting people to pay YOU for exposure??? The entitlement is astounding.
13.
How far does this level of entitlement go? The limit does not seem to exist.
14.
Do you really need to be the center of attention that badly?
15.
Why do influencers think it’s okay to block traffic to do dumb dances? It’s not only dangerous for them, but for everyone else, too.
16.
Couldn’t you at least use a parking lot?
17.
Not to be a boomer, but I don’t even understand TikTok dancing to begin with. It’s hardly even dancing? It’s just sort of shaking your hands and hips around?
18.
C’mon. There are kids there.
19.
Why would you brag about this?
20.
Maybe they’re watching you because you’re wearing a weird Power Rangers helmet and filming yourself?
21.
Oh, look, another unfunny prank that just exists to annoy everybody.
22.
This is just so gross.
24.
Everyone else paid admission, too. This isn’t your personal photo studio.
25.
Uh…okay? What does this accomplish?
26.
“My value comes in my social media presence.” That’s not a monetary value, babes.
27.
We need to stop adding “core” to everything. I hope this person was trolling, but you can’t even tell these days.
28.
The lack of respect is out of control.
29.
Can you say “Main Character Type”?
30.
Sorry, but what exactly is this person CEO of?
31.
I am begging influencers to be aware of the consequences of their actions.
32.
Beyond this ridiculous request, the “??” is also just a rude way to communicate with someone you want to have a business transaction with.
33.
Did the lighting really need to be this extra?
34.
I’m the least confrontational person ever, but if someone threw bread at me and then posted it on the Internet for clout, I’d be throwing hands.
35.
Does anyone actually want to see influencers’ food this badly?
36.
How hard is it to not be a public nuisance?
37.
I just had to include one LinkedIn influencer because they are also out of control.
38.
The obviously fake videos also piss me off…as does this wildly out-of-line response to someone pointing it out. Do people really go through the world wishing these things on everyone who lightly criticizes them?
39.
The fact that so many people have done this baffles me. It’s just so obviously not okay.
40.
The disrespect isn’t quite as bad here…but it’s still pretty bad.
41.
People just want to get to work in peace. Don’t make things worse for them.
42.
Or customers, especially older adults.
43.
Did these people’s parents teach them the opposite of manners, or something?
44.
Or maybe their parents enabled everything and they never matured past the age of two.
45.
People are struggling to get by, and YouTubers are dropping money on stunts like this.
46.
Great, more total disregard for personal safety or that of others.
47.
Don’t be this person.
49.
And finally…suspend him from school. I’m so serious right now.
