Tonight’s AEW WrestleDream airing October 18, 2025, promises an action-packed night live from the Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis, Missouri. The show sees AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page defend his title against The Opps’ AEW World Trios Champion Samoa Joe. Plus, Darby Allin will face The Death Riders’ Jon Moxley in an “I Quit” Match.

AEW WrestleDream Tailgate Brawl Pre-Show Results (10/18/2025): Live Match Updates and Highlights

The AEW WrestleDream Tailgate Brawl Pre-Show opens up with Tony Schiavone welcoming us and we get a video package looking at the “I Quit” Match between Darby Allin and Jon Moxley.

Schiavone is joined on commentary by Nigel McGuinness and “Daddy Magic” Matt Menard. The Death Riders scheduled for the first match of the Tailgate Brawl pre-show are then shown backstage. The Death Riders then make their way down to the ring for the first match of the Tailgate Brawl pre-show through the crowd and The Conglomeration and Paragon follow.

8-Man Tag Team Match: The Conglomeration (“The Stone Pitbull” Tomohiro Ishii and “Freshly Squeezed” Orange Cassidy) and Paragon (Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong) vs. The Death Riders (Claudio Castagnoli, “The Bastard” PAC, Wheeler Yuta and Daniel Garcia)

The match starts off with Strong and Garcia and both men lock up and immediately go into the ropes and to the corner. Strong then chops Garcia and tags in Kyle and they nail him with double team kicks. Kyle then works over Garcia’s arm and Garcia escapes and tags in Yuta. Kyle then tags in Cassidy. Cassidy and Kyle then double team Yuta. Cassidy then blocks Yuta until he is able to try for a beach break, which Yuta blocks and instead kicks Cassidy. PAC then tags in and hits a leg drop on Cassidy.

Ishii and Claudio then throw hands. They then run the ropes and knock each other around. Claudio then shoulder tackles Ishii down. Ishii then reverses a pickup and hits Claudio with a vertical suplex. Claudio then clotheslines Ishii down and drags Ishii to his corner where the Death Riders work him over with quick tags. Ishii then finally clotheslines Yuta and Garcia and Cassidy is tagged in. Cassidy then cleans house on Yuta and Garcia. PAC then tags in and Cassidy hits a round the world. Claudio then gets into the ring and Cassidy gets a rollup for two and hits a PK. Claudio is able to get the big swing on him and Cassidy is able to work his way up and starts to grab a rear naked choke. PAC then assists the Death Riders in escaping and they all leave the ring.

Cassidy then keeps his hold on Claudio who turns it into an airplane spin and slams Cassidy for two. Cassidy. then escapes with a hurricanrana on Claudio and Strong is tagged in and he runs wild. Kyle then gets a blind tag and they double team Yuta and Garcia. Claudio then gets into the ring and takes over. We then get Ishii tagging in and cleaning house. Ishii then hits a huge clothesline on PAC. PAC then hits a running knee on Ishii for win.

We then get a video package looking at the AEW World Championship Match between “Hangman” Adam Page and Samoa Joe for later tonight.

HOOK then makes his way out and stands on the stage and Eddie Kingston joins him before they made their way down to the ring. We then get an LFI promo with Sammy Guevara, RUSH, The Beast Mortos and Dralistico. Guevara talks about being in charge and RUSH does his usual bit about what you get if you mess with the bull. The Frat House then make their way down to the ring.

Tag Team Match: Eddie Kingston and “The Cold-Hearted Handsome Devil” HOOK vs. The Frat House (Griff Garrison and Cole Karter)

The match starts off with Eddie and HOOK working them over outside the ring before getting into the ring. HOOK then works over Griff in the ring and when Eddie tags in and Cole does as well. Cole then hits a drop-kick on Eddie, which allows the Frat House to get a little offense in on Eddie. Eddie then gets a tag HOOK in and he runs wild and it doesn’t take long for Eddie and HOOK to get exploder suplexes on the Frat House. HOOK then pulls Jacked Jameson into the ring when he is on the apron so he can get beat up. Eddie then hits a spinning back fist on Cole and HOOK locks in the Redrum for the win.

After the match, we see LFI watching the action on the stage.

We then see Big Boom! A.J. and Big Justice having a Tailgate Party for the PPV in Boca Raton, Florida. They then plug the show, while also saying come Full Gear next month, they’ll bring the boom to Rocky Romero, Trent Beretta and any partner they choose. Romero and Beretta then show up and talk some trash to Big Boom and Big Justice as A.J. gets his ass kicked and Justice is crying over his dad after Romero and Beretta walk off.

We then get the entrances of the next match of the Tailgate Brawl pre-show.

Tag Team Match: Divine Vanity (“The Megasus” Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford) vs. The Conglomeration’s Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron

The match starts off with Ford mocking Cameron after some early takedowns, but Cameron gets a double leg before tagging in Nightingale. Several short arm lariats are then hit to Ford before locomotion corner splashes lead to Cameron tagging back in for a short dropkick. Ford then scurries free and tags Bayne, who immediately asks for Nightingale. We then get a cheap shot by Ford, but it leads to nothing as Nightingale gets a near fall on Bayne. Ford then tries to jump in for a double team, but Nightingale hits both women with a double clothesline.

We then get a double enzuigiri with Cameron and Nightingale before a she hits a cazadora assisted splash on Ford and that leads to a double suplex attempt on Bayne, who counters by suplexing both Cameron and Nightingale. Ford then follows it up with moonsaulting off the top to the floor and onto both ladies.

Cameron then hits a tilt-a-whirl DDT on Bayne and it leads to a Nightingale hot tag as she runs wild with clotheslines. She then hits a pounce on Bayne as Ford is flattened with a Spinebuster for two. Doctor Bomb is then countered into a hurricanrana by Ford as Bayne tags in for an assisted Stunner for a near fall. Cameron then runs in with a backstabber on Ford, but Bayne lays her out with a flying clothesline. Nightingale then hits Bayne with a DVD, but Ford is there with a Matrix Cutter.

Nightingale and Bayne then trade shots until a huge lariat is hit by Nightingale before tagging in Cameron. Bayne then fights off both women with a flying lariat out of the corner. A tag is then made by Ford, who goes up top for a Doomsday Device, but Cameron rolls through and Ford crashes hard. Bayne is then sent outside as Nightingale meets her with a cannonball off the apron. Ford then tries a fireman’s carry double knee, but gets none of it as Cameron kicks out. Cameron then blocks a boot and drives Ford down with a pump-handle suplex before tagging Nightingale, who hits a Doctor Bomb for the win.

FTR and Stokely Hathaway then made their way down to the ring for the final match of the Tailgate Brawl pre-show. Schiavone says there are only six minutes remaining in the pre-show. Kevin Knight and Mike Bailey then make their way down to the ring.

Tag Team Match: FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax “The Axe” Harwood) vs. JetSpeed (“The Jet” Kevin Knight and “Speedball” Mike Bailey)

The match starts off with FTR attacking, but JetSpeed quickly turns the tables with a series of dropkicks and dueling slingshot dives. Harwood then reverses an irish whip and slams Bailey into the ring steps as Knight leaps off the barricade for a dive. Back inside the ring, Harwood nails Knight before Wheeler joins in for a double suplex, but Bailey saves his partner. Each team then tries to suplex the other until everyone spills over the top and crashes outside. Excalibur. then tells the fans to tune in to the PPV to see the finish of the match as we get a video package looking at WrestleDream and the Tailgate Brawl pre-show comes to a close.

AEW WrestleDream Results (10/18/2025): Live Match Updates and Highlights

AEW WrestleDream opens up with some pyro shooting of the stage as the final match of the Tailgate Brawl pre-show still in progress.

Tag Team Match: FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax “The Axe” Harwood) vs. JetSpeed (“The Jet” Kevin Knight and “Speedball” Mike Bailey)

The match continues with Mike Bailey taking out Dax Harwood as both men hit the floor. Dax and Bailey are back in the ring as Kevin Knight tags and hits Dax with a UFO. Knight then covers Dax, but he kicks out at two. Knight then hits Dax with a DDT, but Cash Wheeler makes it in just in time to break the pinfall. Some miscommunication has Dax running into Cash, sending him crashing to the floor. Knight then makes two attempts to pin Dax, but he kicks out. Knight then goes for a dropkick, but is caught by Dax who turns it into a sharpshooter.

Knight then tries to make it to the bottom rope and gets his hand on the rope to break the hold. Dax then sets Knight up on the top rope. Cash is then sent to the floor again by Bailey. Cash is back in as they drop Knight with a shatter machine, but Bailey comes off the top with a 450, breaking up any pin attempt. Bailey then kicks Cash who then goes back to the apron as Knight dives to make a legal tag.

Bailey and Dax then circle as both men get into a chopping match. Bailey then kicks Dax in the chest, but Dax nails Bailey, who gets back up as both men get into a slapping fest in the center of the ring. Bailey then hits a big foot on Dax, who hits Bailey and hits him with a superplex. Dax then sends Knight to the floor and gets two near falls with both teams as Dax suplexes Bailey, while Stokely holds the feet, which the referee doesn’t see in order for Dax to get the win.

We then head to ringside as commentary welcomes us to the official pay-per-view. Nigel McGuinness and Tony Schiavone then hype up the original opening match for the show, which is Jamie Hayter vs. Thekla. It is also said that everyone will be banned from ringside.

Tony Schiavone then catches up with Charlie Thesz, the wife of Lou Thesz, in the crowd before Thekla and Jamie Hayter make their way down to the ring for the official first match of the PPV.

Singles Match: Jamie Hayter vs. Triangle of Madness’ “The Toxic Spider” Thekla

The match starts off with Hayter hitting Thekla with a boot. She then delivers some right hands on her and hits several chops on her chest before the action spills out of the ring and Hayter sends Thekla crashing into two of the barricades. She then sends her crashing into the ring steps face first, then delivers some chops on her chest and sends her back in the ring.

Thekla then flies back out of the ring to nail Hayter, then places her on one of the chairs and gets in Charlie Thesz’s face. She then sends her back in the ring, then uses the ring ropes to wrench back on Hayter’s spine. Hayter then gets Thekla in an electric chair position, but Thekla jams her boot into Hayter’s face and uses the middle rope to continue wearing Hayter down.

Hayter then delivers some right hands on Thekla, then nails Thekla with a shoulder tackle and follows it up with a suplex. She then hits a dropkick off the middle rope on Thekla, then sets up for a vertical suplex on her. Thekla then escapee and climbs to the top rope and looks to fly.

Hayter then moves out of the way, then climbs to the top rope in the opposite corner. Thekla then hits an open palm strike on Hayter, then joins Hayter on the ropes. Hayter then hits a headbutt on Thekla to knock her off, then looks to hit a dropkick on her. Thekla then ducks out of the way and hits a kick on Hayter’s face, then nails a boot on Hayter’s midsection. Hayter then responds with a step-up enzuigiri on Thekla and hits a backbreaker using her knee.

Hayter then nails Thekla with a right hand, but Thekla tangles up Hayter in an Octopus. Hayter then escapes by hitting a backbreaker on Thekla, but Thekla tangles up Hayter in another submission hold before she hits a spear on her. She then goes for a pin, but Hayter gets her foot on the bottom rope to break the fall. Hayter then responds with a couple of Hayter Lines on Thekla for the win.

The winner of the Singles Match, Jamie Hayter!

After the match, Queen Aminata makes her way down the ring to celebrate with Hayter as they hug. Julia Hart and Skye Blue are standing at the top of ramp, while Thekla is on the floor, looking shocked over the loss.

We then look at the big screen, where it is shown that the Young Bucks have over spent and they have insufficient funds. The Young Bucks then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the PPV to no music and a bag is shown at ringside containing the money. Jurassic Express then make their way down to the ring next.

$500K Match: The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) vs. Jurassic Express (“Jungle Boy” Jack Perry and Luchasaurus)

The match starts off with Jack Perry and Matt Jackson and both men lock up. Nick Jackson and Luchasaurus then tag in and Luchasaurus looks to bodyslam Nick, but Nick tags out to Matt. The Bucks then look to double team on Luchasaurus, but Luchasaurus sends them crashing into each other. After Perry switches corners of the ring, he tags in and hits a dropkick on Matt as Luchasaurus takes out Nick. Perry then looks to fly to nail The Bucks on the outside, but The Bucks move to another side of the ring. Luchasaurus then sees them and hits a moonsault off the ring apron to nail Matt and Nick.

Perry then flies over the top rope to nail The Bucks on the outside near the entrance ramp, then hit a chop on Matt and grabs a sign from a fan in the crowd. He then uses it to whack Matt’s head, but Nick hits a kick on Luchasaurus off the apron and Matt follows it up with a Sliced Bread on him on the floor. Perry and Matt then return to the ring and Perry looks to tag out to Luchasaurus. The Bucks then prevent him from doing so.

The Bucks then hit a double enziguiri on Perry in the corner, but Luchasaurus tags in and delivers some right and left hands on Nick in the corner. He then nails Matt and Nick with a double clothesline, but The Bucks look to hit a double superkick on Luchasaurus. Luchasaurus then sends Nick crashing on top of Matt with a chokeslam, then nails him with a kick and assists Perry in hitting a hurricanrana over the top rope on Matt on the apron.

Perry and Matt then tag in and The Bucks hit a Sunset Flip-German suplex combination on Perry. Perry then sends Matt crashing out of the ring through the middle rope and hits an enzuigiri on Nick and Nick brawls with Perry as they both sit on top of Luchasaurus and Matt’s shoulders in an electric chair position respectively.

Matt then sends Perry in the ring and delivers some chops and right hands on him. Perry then rolls Matt up, but Matt kicks out and hands Perry over to Nick to hit a powerbomb on Perry on the apron. Matt then pins Perry as Nick flies on the other side of the ring to nail Luchasaurus, but Perry kicks out and The Bucks set up for the BTE Trigger on him. Perry then avoids it at first, but The Bucks manage to hit the BTE Trigger on Perry and pin him and Luchasaurus breaks the fall.

Luchasaurus then hits a German suplex on Matt, then follows it up with a chokeslam. Perry then hits a Canadian Destroyer on Nick and Luchasaurus gets Matt up on his shoulders in an electric chair position before he and Perry hit the Doomsday Device on Matt. Jurassic Express then hit the TK Driver on Matt and Luchasaurus pins him, but Nick breaks the fall. Matt and Nick then hit a couple of superkicks on Luchasaurus, then intercept a flying Perry with a double superkick. The Bucks then hit a BTE Trigger on Perry and pin him, but Perry kicks out and Jurassic Express hits the Countdown to Extinction on Matt for the win.

After the match, Perry hands Luchasaurus the bag full of $500,000 and offers to help The Bucks up by extending his hands to both of them. The Bucks then consider accepting, but before they officially can, Josh Alexander, Mark Davis and Lance Archer attack Jurassic Express. The Bucks then slowly head up the entrance ramp, but Kenny Omega’s music hits and he makes his way out. Omega then tries encouraging The Bucks to help him fend off The Don Callis Family, but The Bucks continue up the entrance ramp. Omega then brawls with The Don Callis Family, but Alexander, Davis and Archer overpower him until Perry and Luchasaurus help out Omega. Omega then raises the arms of Luchasaurus and Perry to a big ovation from the fans. The music of Jurassic Express then hits as Omega and the fans celebrate. Omega then leaves the ring and he holds up a sign that reads Inoki Forever.

The Hurt Syndicate then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the PPV and The Demand follows.

AEW World Trios Championship #1 Contender’s Tornado Trios Match: The Demand (Ricochet, Toa Liona and Bishop Kaun) vs. The Hurt Syndicate (“The All Mighty” Bobby Lashley, “The Standard of Excellence” Shelton Benjamin and MVP)

The match starts off with The Demand blindsiding The Hurt Syndicate on the entrance ramp. Ricochet and Bishop Kaun then send MVP crashing into one of the barricades as Bobby Lashley sends Toa Liona crashing into the ring steps. Ricochet then appears out of nowhere to hit the Spirit Gun to Lashley and Kaun and Ricochet deliver some stomps on Shelton Benjamin in the ring.

Benjamin then turns Ricochet inside out with a clothesline, then cinches in an Ankle Lock on Kaun. Ricochet then breaks the hold with a jumping knee strike on Benjamin, then hits a running moonsault on him and goes for a pin. MVP then breaks the fall and Lashley hits a belly-to-belly suplex on Kaun on the outside. Ricochet then hits a tope suicida through the middle rope to take out Lashley, then sets up a table next to the ring steps. Lashley is laid on top of the table and Gates Of Agony send Benjamin crashing off the ring steps on top of Lashley. 

Liona and Kaun then jam their boots into MVP, then hit a double splash on him. Ricochet then pins MVP, but MVP kicks out and sends Ricochet crashing out of the ring when he charges at him in the corner. He then sends Kaun crashing into the ring post and Liona crashing into the top turnbuckle and Lashley hits a clothesline on Liona on the outside. He then hits one on Kaun and another one on Ricochet back inside the ring, then delivers some shoulders on Ricochet’s midsection in the corner. Lashley then hits a double DDT on Kaun and Liona before he sets up for a delayed vertical superplex on Ricochet off the ropes. Kaun and Liona then pull Lashley and Ricochet out of the corner as a means of taking out Lashley.

Everyone then begins flying to nail one another on the outside, but MVP hits a suplex on Ricochet and goes for a pin. Liona then breaks the fall and cinches in a Cobra Clutch on Lashley, but Benjamin breaks the hold by hitting a knee on Liona. Lashley then hits a spear on Liona, then surrounds Ricochet with Benjamin and MVP. Kaun then pulls Ricochet out of the ring to protect him, but MVP hits him with a boot. Benjamin then hits a boot on Kaun’s face and Lashley follows it up with a spear. He then pins Kaun for the win.

The winners of the Tornado Trios Match and new #1 Contender’s to the AEW World Trios Championship, The Hurt Syndicate (“The All Mighty” Bobby Lashley, “The Standard of Excellence” Shelton Benjamin and MVP)!

Mark Briscoe then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the PPV and Kyle Fletcher follows with Don Callis.

AEW TNT Championship Match: Don Callis Family’s “The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher (c) vs. The Conglomeration’s Mark Briscoe

The match starts off with both men locking up. Fletcher then nails Briscoe with a shoulder tackle and both men brawl around the ring before Briscoe hits an elbow drop on Fletcher off the apron. Briscoe then sets up a chair and uses it as a launch pad to fly over the top rope to nail Fletcher on the outside. He then sets the chair up on the outside and places Fletcher on the middle rope before he flies through the middle rope to nail Fletcher on the outside.

Briscoe then sends Fletcher back in the ring and pins him, but Fletcher kicks out and powerbombs Briscoe on top of the side of the ring steps on the outside. Fletcher then hits a bodyslam on Briscoe, then jams his knee into the back of his neck on the outside. Fletcher then nails Briscoe with a boot, but Briscoe responds with one of his own before they both take out one another with clotheslines.

Briscoe then delivers some stomps on Fletcher in the corner, but Fletcher responds with right hands on Briscoe. Briscoe then hits an enzuigiri on Fletcher and follows it up with a Fisherman’s Buster on Briscoe and goes for a pin. Briscoe then kicks out, but Fletcher hits a Half Nelson suplex on Briscoe and follows it up with a powerbomb. Both men then teeter on the ropes, but Fletcher hits a superplex on Briscoe.

Fletcher then looks to hit a Brainbuster on Briscoe on the ring apron, but Briscoe avoids it and responds with a J-Driller on Fletcher. He then sends Fletcher in the ring, then hits a Froggy Bow on Fletcher as Fletcher is draped across the top turnbuckle. He then hits another Froggy Bow on Fletcher on the outside, then gets him back in the ring and hits a third one. Briscoe then goes for a pin, but Fletcher kicks out.

Briscoe then hits a suplex on Fletcher, then sets up for the J-Driller. Fletcher then blocks it, then hits a Half and Half suplex on Briscoe. Briscoe then hits the J-Driller on Fletcher and pins him, but Fletcher gets his hand on the bottom rope to break the hold. Fletcher then sends Briscoe crashing into the referee, then low blows Briscoe and hits a Brainbuster on him. He then goes for a pin, but Briscoe kicks out. Fletcher then sends Briscoe crashing into the middle rope face first, then hits another Brainbuster on Briscoe on the top turnbuckle for the win.

After the match, El Clon made his way out to the stage to celebrate with Fletcher and Callis, while The Conglomeration made their way out to check on Briscoe.

We then get a vignette featuring Toni Storm and the lights then go out in the arena. Toni Storm then makes her way down to the ring for the next match of the PPV. We then get a vignette featuring Kris Statlander and Kris Statlander makes her way down to the ring.

AEW Women’s World Championship Match: Kris Statlander (c) vs. “Timeless” Toni Storm

The match starts off with both women locking up. Both women then take turns locking one another in submission holds, but Statlander trips Storm. Storm then nails Statlander with a shoulder tackle, but Storm responds by hitting one of her own on Statlander and sends Statlander crashing off the apron and onto the floor with a Hip Attack. Statlander then catapults Storm into the ring apron, then hits a moonsault on her off the ring apron and carries Storm back into the ring on her shoulders.

Statlander then hits a Vader Bomb on Storm and goes for a pin, but Storm kicks out. She then delivers some right hands on Storm, but Storm responds with several right hands of her own. Storm then hits a Tiger Driver 97 on Statlander and goes for a pin, but Statlander kicks out and Storm sends her crashing into the mat with a sit-out Hammerlock Driver.

Statlander then tangles up Storm with a submission hold, but Storm gets her foot on the bottom rope to break the hold. Statlander then hits a modified Blue Thunder Bomb on Storm and pins her, but Storm kicks out.

Storm then sets up for Storm Zero on Statlander, but Statlander manages to counter into a dropkick and climbs to the top rope. She then hits the Area 450 and goes for a pin, but Storm kicks out and hits the Storm Zero on Statlander. She then goes for a pin, but Statlander kicks out. Statlander then reverses into a pinfall of her own, but Storm kicks out at the last second and hits a suplex on Statlander. Statlander then hits Storm with a discus lariat and a Saturday Night Fever before she cinches in a submission on Storm. Storm then refuses to pass out or tap, but Statlander hits a second Saturday Night Fever on Storm for the win.

After the match, Statlander and Storm hug one another.

AEW TBS Champion “The CEO” Mercedes Moné then interrupts and she makes her way out to the stage with The Frat House. Moné then makes her way down to the ring. Moné then asks for a mic. Moné then congratulates Statlander and tells her to get out of her ring. Statlander then leaves. Moné then calls herself Ultimo Moné and asks which champion in the back wants to put their title on the line. The music of Mina Shirakawa then hits as the interim ROH Women’s World TV Champion answers the call.
