Day 10 of the 2026 Milan Cortina Olympics featured six medal events and another dominant performance from the U.S. women’s hockey team.
The Americans picked up another lopsided win after crushing Sweden in the semifinal, 5-0. Team USA has breezed to the final, outscoring opponents 31-1 while recording five consecutive shutouts. They can finish one of the most dominant runs in Olympic history with a win over rival Canada in the gold medal game on Thursday. The Canadians held on to beat Switzerland 2-1 in the other semifinal.
In bobsled, it was a banner day for the American women in the monobob. Elana Meyers Taylor and Kaillie Humphries both flew around the track as they finished on the podium. Meyers Taylor won her first gold medal and became the oldest women’s bobsled medalist at 41 years old, and Humphries took home the bronze medal.
Earlier, the men’s team of Joshua Williamson and Frankie del Duca finished fourth behind three German teams in the second heat of the two-man bobsled event. Heats 3 and 4 will take place Tuesday with a shot at the podium on the line.
The U.S. is still in position to advance to the knockout phase in women’s curling despite a surprising loss to Italy that snapped a three-match win streak. Critical matches await on Tuesday — for both the U.S. men and women.
Looking ahead to Tuesday, the marquee event will be the start of the women’s figure skating competition with the short program, as Americans Isabeau Levito, Alysa Liu and Amber Glenn will try to put themselves in position to medal in the free skate. Team USA’s best chance for gold will be in the men’s skiing Big Air competition where Mac Forehand topped the qualification standings.
Team USA sits in third place in the medal count at 19 — with six golds — trailing Norway and host nation Italy.
