Former Allure Health building to be new home for medical spa
Feb. 24, 2026
The former Allure Health building in south Sioux Falls will be filled by Kalon Medical Spa and other wellness-focused businesses.
The medical spa, which is part of Vance Thompson Vision, will double its space when it moves from 3101 W. 57th St. to the vacant building at 7000 S. Lyncrest Place. Along with the new location, it is rebranding as Kalon Aesthetics & Surgery.
The building has been unoccupied since Allure Health ended operations in 2024.
Kalon’s services range from natural health and wellness treatments to advanced, medical-grade skin care and surgical procedures.
“Because of the continued loyalty and trust of our patients, Kalon is expanding,” director Anne Hayden said. “Our new space is a reflection of everything Kalon stands for, and the refined environment mirrors the sophistication of the patients we serve and the treatments we provide.”
Kalon was founded in 2019. Services include facials, diamond glows, injectables, resurfacing lasers and surgical treatments.
“Overseen by our medical director and oculoplastic surgeon, Dr. Zac Keenum, our team of providers is comprised of two licensed aestheticians, a certified physician assistant and two nurse practitioners, including South Dakota’s only CANS-certified nurse practitioner,” Hayden said.
“We will also be expanding our team in the near future.”
On the retail side, Kalon will continue to offer medical-grade skin care lines, including ZO Skin Health and Revision Skincare, in addition to Eminence Organic Skin Care, Colorscience and others, as well as boutique items.
“The building is beautiful,” Hayden added. “We’ve made some interior modifications to fit our needs and refreshed the space to reflect our brand.”
Kalon will occupy a large portion of the second floor, “with the remaining spaces occupied by like-minded, health-oriented businesses,” she said.
They include:
- Spread the Health: Owner Tamme Berdahl is a breath work and meditation coach and restorative yoga instructor. Her classes focus on nervous system fitness using guided breathing techniques to help calm the body, reduce stress and anxiety, and create space for stillness, balance and restoration.
- Well Balanced Physical Therapy: This business offers physical therapy for pelvic floor and orthopedic concerns. To bridge the gap between rehab and fitness, it also offers specialized small-group fitness and private performance training.
- HealthSpan Medical: This is a membership-based, physician-led longevity medicine practice. The goal is to delay the onset of age-related disease by focusing on intensive early detection and prevention. This includes advanced diagnostics of human movement, nutritional assessments, laboratory testing, full-body MRI and individualized medical and lifestyle interventions with a multidisciplinary team. HealthSpan Medical is accepting a limited number of patients.
The former Allure Health also included a bar and patio on the main floor. Kalon hasn’t determined how that space will be used.
“This was the hottest listing of 2025,” said Mike Knudson of Van Buskirk Cos., who had the property co-listed with Ryan Tysdal. “We showed the building to countless users over the past several months and ultimately had multiple offers.”
The attractive design and desirable south-side location “made it a very sought-after property,” Knudson added.
The former Kalon space will be used as a growth area for Vance Thompson Vision’s clinical patient care.
The new location will begin seeing patients March 9.
