WWE Star Removed From Men’s Elimination Chamber Match, Replacement Confirmed
WWE
A WWE star has officially been removed from tomorrow night’s men’s Elimination Chamber match in Chicago, Illinois.
Tonight’s pre-Chamber edition of SmackDown kicked off with footage showing Jey Uso being loaded into an ambulance after being attacked backstage.
Uso had qualified for the Elimination Chamber match this past Monday on Raw after WWE was forced to change plans due to a mid-match injury to Bronson Reed, who was supposed to win their qualifier.
Who Will Replace Jey Uso At WWE Elimination Chamber
Throughout tonight’s show, WWE SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis had been trying to figure out how to fill Uso’s spot in the Chamber.
The first man to request Uso’s spot was The Vision’s Logan Paul, with Aldis saying he would consider it but had to make some calls.
Later, Aldis was talking to Jacob Fatu, who had been with Uso and blamed WWE Champion Drew McIntyre for the attack, pointing out that McIntyre also attacked Fatu himself a few months ago.
Fatu then requested a spot in the Chamber to help Aldis deal with the McIntyre problem by earning a WWE Title shot against McIntyre at WrestleMania.
Aldis again said he would consider it but had to make more calls.
Later, Aldis spoke to The Vision and said that, after agreeing with Raw General Manager Adam Pearce, Logan Paul will face Jacob Fatu tonight, and the winner of that will be Uso’s replacement in the Elimination Chamber match.
UPDATE: It was Logan Paul who picked up the win over Fatu to qualify after Drew McIntyre attacked Fatu.
The rest of the men’s Chamber field is made up of Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, LA Knight, Trick Williams and Je’Von Evans.
