The Outer Worlds 2 launches for Xbox Series X|S on Wednesday, October 29th.
The Outer Worlds 2 Early Access Xbox Release Date
While the game’s main release is Oct. 29, The Outer Worlds 2 also has an Early Access period.
Early Access players can start playing from Friday, October 24th.
The Outer Worlds 2 Release Times Xbox
The Outer Worlds 2 will launch at different times depending on whether you’re playing via early access or the main release. In that case, we’ll detail both sets of times down below:
- The Outer Worlds 2 Early Access Times: 9pm PT (Oct. 23), 12am ET / 5am BST (Oct. 24)
- The Outer Worlds 2 Main Release Times: 10am PT / 1pm ET / 5pm GMT (Oct 29)
How To Get Early Access For The Outer Worlds 2
There are two main ways to get early access for The Outer Worlds 2: The Premium Edition and the Premium Preorder Upgrade.
The Premium Edition contains the full game plus early access and DLC, the Premium Preorder upgrade contains just early access and DLC; you’ll also need to have access to the full game separately to pair with the upgrade.

The main Xbox Game Pass version will arrive at the above times on October 29th, and you can combine your Game Pass subscription with that Premium Preorder Upgrade to play five days early.
