Comedian & Jim Carrey Doppelganger Heather Shaw Breaks Silence About Viral Conspiracies: ‘Not A Clone’

Heather Shaw has been tagged tons of times in conspiracy videos about Jim Carrey and she’s got something to say.

The comedian and Carrey look alike took to social media to share her thoughts on what many have been talking about for days – Carrey’s new appearance. She wants to make a few things crystal clear and didn’t hold back on any of her thoughts. And even though she said what she said, TikTok viewers challenged her in the comments of her recent videos.

Heather Shaw Wants People To Know She’s Not Jim Carrey’s ‘Clone’

Shaw, who was on a flight when “everybody” tagged her in a video of Carrey walking the red carpet after his Cesar Awards appearance, broke her silence on all the conspiracy theories floating around about Carrey’s new look.

“Everyone keeps tagging me saying that I’m his clone,” she said. “I’m not his f-cking clone.”

She then said she’s in an “airport in New York” and if she were actually Carrey’s clone, she would be in “a mansion somewhere.”

She continued by addressing what many are saying about Carrey, that he’s “been replaced.”

“Replaced with what? It’s just face work,” she continued. “Has nobody seen ‘Real Housewives’ of anything? The man has just had some fillers. I think he looks great for 60-something. I think he looks fine. He looks like a normal aging guy that also got some Botox and fillers. He’s not been replaced, guys.”

‘Vintage Jim Carrey Face’

Shaw reminded people that she’s “still here.”

“I’m still here. A lesbian who looks like a man. Vintage Jim Carrey face,” she said. “I can at least say that I now have vintage Jim Carrey.”

She continued saying that the “clone theories are crazy,” and doubled down that she’s “not a clone,” and reminded people that Carrey is “just aging and getting face work.”

Shaw’s video quickly went viral with more than 1.1 million views and thousands of comments that challenge her words.

“That’s exactly what Jim Carrey’s replacement clone would say,” one viewer wrote. Another said, “U at the airport, coming from accepting the award? Got it.” One other person shared, “You look more like Jim Carrey then the fake Jim Carrey looks like Jim Carrey.”

And that’s not even the tip of the iceberg.

“At this point you’re more Jim Carrey than Jim Carrey, respectfully,” one viewer pointed out. Another added, “Jim Carrey said he would never get any face work & if he did then he had been replaced.” And one other said, “This is Jim Carrey playing Heather Shaw.”

Heather Shaw ‘Cannot Deal’ With All The ‘Conspiracy Theories’

In a follow up TikTok video, Shaw shares her thoughts about all the conspiracy theories floating around about Carrey. She bluntly said, “People are f-cking insane,” before breaking down some of the things people are saying.

“If any celebrity was a clone of themselves, why wouldn’t they look exactly the same, or younger than their original self?” she asked. “Why would you make a clone and make it like face worked up and weird looking and botchy and awkward?”

She then shared that people often become “conspiracy theorists” when they aren’t fully understanding something.

“That’s what’s going on here,” she continued. “Does nobody understand face work, aging, a person whose career is in Hollywood? Oh, Jim Carrey would never get face work. Oh, you know him? I don’t know him and I would know somebody in Hollywood probably get face work, the pressure they have.”

Shaw explained that she was in a casino at 10:30 a.m. on a Saturday and feels that’s “less insane than everything” she’s been seeing online.

Viewers Kept On Sharing Their Thoughts About Jim Carrey Conspiracy Theories

Many challenged Shaw in the comments of her follow up video, just as they did in her first video talking about the Carrey conspiracy theories.

“I feel like I’m being gaslit,” one person wrote. Another asked, “They got you on payroll huh Heather?” One other said, “People used to call the files a conspiracy too.” Another added, “It’s not a clone but also NOT Jim Carrey.”

And the comments didn’t stop there.

“Ironic the Jim Carrey clone is defending the…Jim Carrey clone,” one viewer wrote. Another shared, “Dang super disappointed because I came to your page expecting the opposite…they must have you hooked in too.”
