Looks like Love Is Blind Season 10 fan-favorite Jessica Barrett did meet a lasting love in the pods — it just wasn’t her ex-fiancé, Chris Fusco, as she originally expected.

At the Love Is Blind Season 10 reunion, Jessica revealed that she is currently dating Ohio Pod Squad member and fellow doctor, Haramol Gill! In an exclusive interview with Swooon, Jessica confessed, “I dated somebody else very seriously throughout most of the experiment that y’all didn’t get to see.”

Who is Jessica’s new boyfriend?

At the reunion, Jessica hard-launched a new relationship with 36-year-old ER doctor Haramol Gill, whom she originally connected with in the pods! He told Netflix, “My job and my life have deep purpose, so it’s hard to find time to date.” That being said, he explained, “I’ve gone to college. I’m a doctor. I’m a professor. But that’s not who I am.” Hopefully, dating another doctor helps with the whole finding time to date situation!

Haramol attended the University of Michigan and went to Oakland University’s School of Medicine. He’s worked as an emergency medicine physician at Duke University and at Ohio State University, per his LinkedIn. Haramol is also a national speaker on wellness and health performance.

Why did Haramol leave the pods early?

Haramol confessed during the Season 10 reunion that he had trouble with the experiment because he didn’t want to “experiment” on another person’s heart. While he had feelings for Jessica in the pods, Haramol confessed, “I can’t run with just feelings ’cause I’m going to marry you, your family, your sister, your dogs, your house, your career, all of it.”

Because of that, he ended up walking away because he wasn’t “brave enough to do that thing.” He shared, “I regret that because of everything [Jessica] had to deal with from my decision to do that thing.” Now that he’s gotten a “second chance,” he’s ready to “take it seriously.”

When did Jessica and Haramol start dating?

According to Jessica, even though their relationship was more recent, it didn’t come out of nowhere. She explained, “Haramol and I had a very deep connection in the pods.” Jessica revealed that after everything went down with Chris, Jessica reconnected with Haramol, who was there for her as a friend, or at least she thought. From the audience of the reunion, he joked, “I was shooting shots. You were so wrong!”

Jessica explained, “It took a long time, a very long time, for us to actually just sit down, just the two of us.” They “talked for hours” before “he was like, ‘Look, I know who I am, and I know what I want, and it’s you.” The rest was history.
