Kylie Jenner, 28, just took to Instagram today, Oct. 22, to share the unfortunate news that her beloved Italian greyhound, Norman, passed away. Jenner received Norman, who lived to be almost 13, as a Christmas gift when she was 17, and it was pure love and companionship ever since.
Norman, or Normie as Jenner affectionately called him, was a regular star on Jenner’s family’s reality TV shows over the years, including Keeping Up with the Kardashians. He also made frequent appearances on Jenner’s social media accounts. At one point, Jenner even made Norman his own Instagram account, one that he shared with his dog sister, Bambi, another one of Jenner’s Italian greyhounds.
In today’s Instagram post, Jenner shared a series of sweet snaps of Norman throughout his life. Norman was clearly so very loved. He was such a cute little guy, always posing in the most demure and sophisticated way.

“In Loving Memory of My Sweet Norman. I still remember the day I brought you home. I had never loved anything so much. I always wanted an Italian Greyhound growing up, but my mommy never let me have one. Then, right after I turned 17, I got you for Christmas, and it was the best gift I could have ever received,” Jenner wrote in the heartfelt post announcing the loss. Cue the tears.

“Normy, you filled my life and so many others with pure joy. Almost 13 years old, and yet I know I’ll remember you far longer than the time we got to share. I wish I wasn’t writing this post. I knew you were getting older, and I tried to prepare myself, but it’s hard losing you norm. It makes me happy knowing my kids got to meet you and love you 😢 My sweet Normyyyy. My heart aches for you. Rest in peace, my precious Normandle. I love you forever.”
Condolences Pour In
After Jenner shared the death announcement on Instagram, comments from fans expressing condolences for her loss poured in.
“so incredibly sorry for your loss kylie 🤍 it’s so hard losing a pet 😞,” exclaimed one person in a comment on the Instagram post.
“oh Ky I’m so sorry. I hope you find comfort in all the beautiful memories you created together. Norman was lucky to have you, and I know you gave him a life filled with love, warmth and happiness. Sending you all my love. ❤️🫂,” said another fan in a comment.
Some familiar names also appeared in the comments, sending messages of support.
“I love you Tink that’s so sad 🥺,” commented Jenner’s sister Kourtney Kardashian.
Losing a pet is always so, so hard. We are sending Kylie and her family all our love during this very difficult time. It’s clear that Normie was very loved, and always will be.
