Who went home on ‘Survivor’? ‘White Lotus’ director blindsided
Jenna Lewis-Dougherty says this is the way to get on ‘Survivor’
Watch “Survivor” contestant Jenna Lewis-Dougherty encourage fans to apply for the show.
“Survivor” castaways enjoyed one of the biggest rewards in series history, as musical star Zac Brown joined the episode to feed and entertain one tribe.
The Kalo tribe won reward and met up with Brown after the challenge. Brown cooked two large fish he killed in Fiji; the castaways drank beer and wine, and, of course, Brown sang to them — which brought Joe Hunter and “Coach,” to tears. They also enjoyed a sing-a-long with Brown the front man of the Zac Brown Band.
The Vatu tribe finished last, so members had to once again march to tribal council. In a blindside move, “White Lotus” writer and director, Mike White was sent home.
“You skunks! Amazing. Good job you guys,” White said in disbelief.
Earlier in the episode, Genevieve Mushaluk found a “Billie Eilish boomerang Idol,” in a tree — her second. Mushaluk sent the idol to Rizo Velovic of the Cila tribe. Now, there are three idols active.
There are 19 castaways left standing. According to the latest sneak peek video, two tribes may be sent to tribal council instead of one next week.
Here’s more on the “Survivor” season 50 and how to watch next week.
Who was voted off ‘Survivor’ last night?
“White Lotus” writer and director Mike White was sent home — the Vatu tribe’s second blindside.
Angelina Keeley initially was the No. 1 target, though White wanted to keep her in the game because they are allies. He turned the target onto Emily Flippen, and (nearly) convinced Christian Hubicki to write Flippen’s name down to get the majority vote — however, unknown to White, Hubicki switched the target to White.
Heading to tribal council, Hubicki had to decide whether he wanted to vote out White or Flippen because both have proven somewhat harmful to his game.
In the end, White was the fifth person voted off “Survivor,” 50. He was shocked and impressed by the tribe’s strategy. Keeley and Flippen also received votes.
White previously played in season 37, “David vs. Goliath,” and placed second.
Was a hidden immunity idol found on ‘Survivor’ last night?
Yes, Genevieve Mushaluk found her second “Billie Eilish boomerang Idol.” Mushaluk sent it to Rizo Velovic of the Cila tribe. Three idols are now active.
The idols were created by singer-songwriter Billie Eilish and require the person who found them to send them to someone on a different tribe.
Ozzy Lusth was gifted an idol gifted by Genevieve Mushaluk in episode 1; and Aubry Bracco was gifted an idol by Christian Hubicki in episode 2.
‘Survivor’ highlights

- Zac Brown introduced himself as a major “Survivor” fan saying he watched all the seasons. Brown also mentioned how he loved spearfishing, so he caught two large fish while at Fiji and cooked dinner for the Kalo tribe.
