A pants-wearing kangaroo is on the loose in Wisconsin and cops need help to find it
Toodaloo kangaroo!
A kangaroo is on the loose in central Wisconsin, and authorities are asking the public for help locating the missing marsupial.
Chesney the kangaroo “pulled a full-on prison break” from Sunshine Farm petting zoo in Necedah, about 90 miles north of Madison, the Juneau County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post.
The runaway roo was last seen “bouncing through the area of 23rd & 9th like he’s training for the Olympics,” authorities said.
Photos of Chesney shared online show him sporting a stylish pair of denim pants, but his owners wrote on social media that he made a break for it without his pants.

Chesney’s worried owner said he got “spooked and got out of his enclosure” just after noon on Wednesday.
She had been out with a drone searching for him both Wednesday and Thursday, but hadn’t had any luck locating him as of Thursday afternoon.
On the Sunshine Farm Facebook page, Chesney’s owner notes there had been several sightings of the kangaroo making off in different directions.
“He could be anywhere,” she said, adding: “He doesn’t have his diaper on right now, so he blends in with the woods,” she added.
Chesney is “likely scared, so please be careful with him. Please don’t challenge him to a boxing match,” the sheriff’s office said in a statement.
Photos on the petting zoo’s social media show several other animals, but none quite as exotic as a kangaroo. Owning a kangaroo is legal in Wisconsin.
A runaway kangaroo named Sheila also made headlines after escaping from her enclosure in Alabama last August.
Sheila was spotted hopping along the side of Interstate 85 until her owner was able to capture her using a tranquilizer dart.
Despite the drama, Sheila made it home safely after getting checked out at the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine.
While her family runs a petting zoo, Sheila was a personal pet, her owner told the Associated Press last year.
