No Rides From Vanessa Trump’s Boyfriend Tiger Woods

President Donald Trump may think Tiger Woods is “an amazing person,” but after the golf legend rolled his Land Rover and was charged with DUI on March 27, the president has an unbendable rule for his grandchildren: no getting in a car with Woods as the driver.

The athlete, 50, has been dating the 79-year-old’s former daughter-in-law Vanessa Trump for about a year, and regularly spends time with the five children she shares with her ex-husband, Donald Trump Jr. While the former Apprentice host is fine with Woods being around his grandkids, when it comes to driving, “It’s a hard no,” a source told Rob Shuter in the latest issue of his Naughty But Nice Substack newsletter. “He doesn’t want Tiger behind the wheel with his grandkids. Not happening.”

Vanessa and Donald Jr., both 48, were married from 2005 to 2018 and share Kai, 18, Donald III, 17, Tristan, 14, Spencer 13, and Chloe, 11. Kai is a golfer with plans to play for the team at the University of Miami starting in 2026. Days before the car crash, Vanessa, Kai, and Chloe were seen cheering Woods on as he competed in the TGL Finals in Palm Beach.

According to the source, the president’s rule comes from his strong feelings about substance abuse. “Trump hates anything to do with drugs or alcohol. That’s a line for him, especially when it comes to his family,” said the insider.

“In Trump’s mind, there’s just too much risk,” echoed another source. “He would feel safer with Britney Spears driving them than Tiger Woods. That’s how firm he is.”

Another insider admits that “it makes things awkward” for the couple, but it is a rule President Trump feels is necessary. “There are very clear boundaries. Tiger can be part of the kids’ world. Just not behind the wheel.”

When asked about Woods’s car accident by reporters, the president had this to say: “I feel so badly. He’s got some difficulty. There was an accident and that’s all I know. Very close friend of mine. He’s an amazing person, amazing man. But some difficulty.”
