Golden Retrievers rhyme with goofiness. Okay, they don’t actually rhyme, but Golden Retrievers are definitely goofy, LOL.
Just take the two very determined Golden Retriever brothers in this video. In this footage, these precious canine brothers have encountered a trampoline in their backyard and are determined to figure out what this thing is.
Between the two of them, we are convinced that they share one golden brain cell, because neither of them is exactly the canine Sherlock Holmes, LOL.
The lighter of these two canine brothers seemed to think that the best way to get to the bottom of this mysterious trampoline thing was to bounce up and down on it, which was the right idea.
Although this determined dog didn’t seem to understand that bouncing was the point, they wanted to get to something that was apparently underneath the trampoline by bouncing up and down on it. Like we said, this dog is not exactly the canine Sherlock Holmes, LOL.

Eventually, his brother decided that he wanted to help out and began bouncing on the trampoline, too. However, he didn’t really like this very much and barked at his brother to leave the bouncing to him.

His brother listened to him for a moment before he decided to get back on the trampoline and bounce away in unison with his brother. Once again, his brother told him off. Apparently, getting to the bottom of what this trampoline is all about is a one-dog job, LOL.
After this extravaganza had gone on for quite some time, the other Golden Retriever brother decided to try reaching under the trampoline, at which point they succeeded in retrieving a small orange ball that had gotten stuck underneath it.
And so ended the great Golden Retriever trampoline mystery of October 2025.
These Dogs Share a Single Brain Cell
As this other video shows, there can be no doubt that these adorable Golden Retriever brothers share a single brain cell. Is the lighter one trying to stand on top of his brother just because…? Or is the darker one trying to wear his brother as a hat?
We think there is a good joke to be had somewhere in all this. How many smiling Golden Retrievers does it take to screw in a lightbulb? How many licks does it take for a Golden Retriever to get to the center of the Tootsie Pop?
How many times will these affable, yet hapless, dogs lose a ball under the trampoline and then try pushing their way through it, bouncing up and down without success, before they remember that all they have to do is reach under the trampoline to retrieve their ball, just like they did last time? The world may never know.
