Akali gameplay trailer for 2XKO, releases April 7

Akali was recently revealed to be the next champion coming to 2XKO. Senna is supposedly set to join the roster sometime after Akali.

Earlier today, the 2XKO development team released Akali’s gameplay trailer. As alluded to previously, she’s set to be released on April 7, 2026.

This probably isn’t too surprising, but it appears that Akali functions as a rush down character. She seems particularly effective at mixing opponents up.

While airborne, she can teleport to bring herself down to the ground. This allows Akali players to transition immediately into low attacks from situations in which opponents are expecting to block an overhead jump in.

Akali is also armed with multiple kunai that can be thrown all at once as projectiles. It feels like this attack is more intended to help Akali get in rather than for zoning purposes.

The is also able to generate a field of smokescreen. Based on what we see in the trailer, Akali can freely pass through hostile projectile attacks while moving through this smokescreen.
