Nvidia, Apple, Tesla on Iran’s Hit List as Tehran Warns of Imminent Attacks

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps issued a threat against a group of U.S. technology companies with operations in the Middle East, according to a Telegram post on Wednesday.
The security arm warned that 18 firms could become targets in response to U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iran. It advised employees to leave their workplaces, saying actions could begin at 8 p.m. Tehran time.
Among the companies cited were Nvidia (NASDAQ:NVDA), Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL), Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT), Alphabet (NASDAQ:GOOGL), Cisco Systems (CSCO), Intel (INTC) and Oracle (NYSE:ORCL). The list also included Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA), Boeing (NYSE:BA), JPMorgan Chase (NYSE:JPM) and several others.
The threat follows Iranian attacks earlier this month on Amazon Web Services facilities in the Middle East, which disrupted multiple digital services in the United Arab Emirates. U.S. technology firms have been expanding their presence in the region, drawn by lower energy costs and available land for artificial intelligence infrastructure.
