First Jam Kuradoberi match footage released for Guilty Gear Strive Version 2.00
Guilty Gear Strive is less than a week away from it’s huge Version 2.00 update, and now we can get a taste of what that’s going to look like with the newest character.
Arc System Works and GameSpot have dropped the first match footage for Jam Kuradoberi ahead of her impending release.
Now that we can get a glimpse at her UI, we can confirm that Jam’s old card mechanic to power up her kicks have returned from the previous game as can be seen above her Tension gauge.
She should appear a good bit familiar to fans with her various strikes, command dash and counter, but she’s still certainly got some new toys to play with as well.
We were curious to see if her pet rabbit would factor into Jam’s gameplay at all, but it seems the bun is mostly just there for fun animations and interactions.
It’s still cute as heck though.
The gameplay here includes matches against Nagoriyuki and Ky Kiske, so we get a good six minutes or so of seeing her martial arts in action.
On top of Jam, ArcSys is also adding new special moves to Guilty Gear Strive Version 2.00, and they include some examples of Ky’s projectile follow-up here.
The update contains a new gameplay mechanic, rebalancing for the cast, costumes, accessories and more as well.
Jam and the big update are scheduled to release on April 9, 2026.
