UPDATE (10:10 a.m.) – SpaceX is now targeting 5:10 p.m. for the launch of its latest Starlink mission.

A live webcast of the launch will begin about 5 minutes prior to takeoff.

SpaceX is planning to launch a Falcon 9 rocket out of Vandenberg Space Force Base on Monday, Oct. 27. The rocket will carry 28 Starlink satellites into low-earth orbit, and the launch window is between 2:12- 6:12 p.m.

Residents in Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties may hear a sonic boom approximately 8-10 minutes after the launch
