Charlie Kirk’s Wife Erika Reveals Her Message to Jimmy Kimmel | Erika Kirk, Jimmy Kimmel | Celebrity News and Gossip | Entertainment, Photos and Videos
Erika Kirk, the widow of Charlie Kirk, answered a question about Jimmy Kimmel in a new interview.
If you haven’t followed, in September, ABC pulled Jimmy Kimmel Live! off the air indefinitely following comments the 57-year-old late-night host made in the wake of the right-wing commentator’s death.
On a broadcast shortly after Kirk‘s death, Jimmy said, “We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them with everything they can to score political points from. In a new interview, Fox News host Jesse Watters asked her, “Jimmy Kimmel lied about your husband’s murder and didn’t really apologize.” By the way, Jimmy was very emotional during his return to air and had a message for Erika Kirk.
She responded, “Same thing I told Sinclair [Broadcast Group]. They asked — I haven’t really told anybody this — so they asked, ‘Do you want Jimmy to give you an apology? Do you want to be on a show? How can we make it right?’ Through our team, I responded.”
She continued, “I said, ‘Tell them thank you, we received their note. This is not our issue, not our mess. If you want to say I’m sorry to someone who’s grieving, go right ahead. But if that’s not in your heart, don’t do it. I don’t want it. I don’t need it.’”
The full interview will air on Wednesday (November 5) on Jesse Watters Primetime.
