Landlord-tenant clash leads to arrest, rifle secured by officers
Rochester, N.Y. — One person was arrested on Saturday after an alleged landlord-tenant dispute in Rochester.
The Rochester Police Department said officers responded to the area of Mt. Hope Avenue and Sanford Street for the report of a “menacing with a rifle.”
The department said officers learned that a dispute between a landlord and a tenant had occurred, during which police said the tenant threatened their landlord with a rifle.
The landlord wished to pursue criminal charges, the tenant was arrested, and the rifle was secured.
