Galaxy S26 series specs, images leak ahead of February 26 launch
Samsung’s Galaxy S26 series is looking all but confirmed for a February 25 launch event, while new leaks reveal official-looking images and alleged specs for the trio.
It’s been rumored for some time that Samsung would launch the Galaxy S26 series on February 25, but now it looks absolutely certain. Leaker Evan Blass (@evleaks) posted an event invite for Galaxy Unpacked on February 25, 2026, which is where we’ll probably see the Galaxy S26 series and Galaxy Buds 4, among other potential updates. The time of the event is redacted, though.

Around the same time, Android Headlines published images of Galaxy S26, S26+, and the Galaxy S26 Ultra, alongside alleged specs – with no telltale signs of AI writing involved.
As expected, these phones are virtually unchaged for the most part. There’s a new camera island design on the back, but the specs are familiar. Galaxy S26 is said to have a 6.3-inch display, 4,300 mAh battery, and either Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 or Exynos 2600, depending on market. The smallest model will measure 149.6 x 71.7 x 7.2mm where the Galaxy S26+ would apparently measure 158.4 x 75.8 x 7.3mm with a 6.7-inch display and 4,900 mah battery. Those two phones are also said to have a 50MP main camera, 12MP ultrawide, and 10MP telephoto, all in line with rumors that Samsung ditched a long-overdue camera upgrade.
Meanwhile, Galaxy S26 Ultra is mentioned with a 6.9-inch display and measures 163.6 x 78.1 x 7.9mm. Where the other two phones are the same as their predecessors, the Ultra is 0.3mm thinner if this leak turns out to be true. As such, it makes sense that the battery isn’t getting any larger, apparently coming in at 5,000 mAh just like the past several generations.
There’s no mention of an Exynos 2600 version of the Galaxy S26 Ultra, implying it’s a Snapdragon-only show, while the rear cameras include a familiar 200MP main, 50MP ultrawide, and 10MP + 50MP telephoto shooters. All three phones run One UI 8.5 out of the box, predictably.
