2026 Actor Awards red carpet: Here’s who you voted best and worst dressed at the SAG Awards
The Actor Awards brought some old Hollywood glamour to the red carpet. On Sunday, Kristen Bell hosted the 32nd Annual Actor Awards, formerly known as the SAG Awards, where union members cast their votes for the best individual and ensemble performances of the year.
The night’s biggest winners included Seth Rogen and the late Catherine O’Hara, who each won awards for their individual performances, and the Outstanding Performance by a Cast award for the Apple TV series The Studio. Keri Russell took home an Actor Award dramatic performance in The Diplomat, while Noah Wyle and his costars won for the HBO Max medical drama, The Pitt.
In the film categories, Hamnet star Jessie Buckley won for her leading dramatic performance, as did Michael B. Jordan for his portrayal of twin brothers in Sinners. The cast of Sinners collected the actor award for their ensemble performance, while Amy Madigan (Weapons) and Sean Penn (One Battle After Another) won for their supporting roles.
For the first time, guests were issued a dress code of “Reimagining Hollywood Glamour From the ’20s and ’30s.” While some members of the Screen Actors Guild rose to the occasion, others floundered —or ignored the theme altogether.
We asked Yahoo Canada readers to cast their votes for the best — and worst — looks of the night. Keep scrolling to see the results.
BEST: Ali Larter

Larter’s glamorous merlot-coloured gown might as well have been gold, because Yahoo Canada readers thought her Zuhair Murad gown was the best of the night. The Landman star earned 31 per cent of reader votes, thanks to this understated, but elegant, strapless gown.
The look was on-theme, if not slightly ahead of its time. The draped details and swagging on the skirt were reminiscent of ’30s and ’40s-style evening wear.

Larter looked like a modern-day Veronica Lake, thanks to her long blonde tresses, which had volume and a subtle movement and finished the look with a pop of colour called “Tempting” by Armani Beauty on the lips. She accessorized the look with modern pieces from the Italian jewellery brand Repossi, including its avant-garde “Toi & Moi” diamond ring.
RUNNER-UP: Kate Hudson

If there’s one thing for certain, Yahoo Canada readers love Kate Hudson — especially when she turns up the glam on the red carpet. The 46-year-old Song Sung Blue actress won 29 per cent of reader votes thanks to her cream-coloured gown by Valentino that featured ’30s-style draping with a cut-out detail under the bust for a modern twist, as well as a regal silk chiffon cape.

Hudson kept her hair down with a glossy blow-out and opted for shimmering makeup with pops of pink. The look was paired with custom diamond pieces by Emily P. Wheeler, including a white gold and diamond necklace with fringe elements.
WORST: Patricia Arquette

The Severance star’s layers of red silk and velvet fell flat with Yahoo Canada readers. The 57-year-old, who has two Actor Award wins under her belt, was dubbed the worst dressed of the night by a landslide. Forty-two per cent of readers who voted thought the shapeless look wasn’t befitting an actress of her stature.
RUNNER-UP: Parker Posey

Truth be told, this look left our team of editors divided. Some loved the playful boudoir look of this bubblegum pink Gucci gown, while others thought it didn’t quite deliver for a ’20s and ’30s-themed carpet. The White Lotus star’s character famously said she “wasn’t meant to live an uncomfortable life,” but 27 per cent of Yahoo Canada readers who voted thought the nightgown-inspired ensemble was a fashion fail.
