Measles case confirmed in Pensacola area
PENSACOLA, Fla. — One case of measles has been confirmed in the Pensacola area.
Pensacola Pediatrics says they were recently notified of this case.
“Measles is highly contagious, and unvaccinated individuals are at increased risk if exposed,” Pensacola Pediatrics says.
The facility strongly recommends vaccinating your child if you have not done so.
- Infants 6–11 months are eligible for early MMR vaccination
- Children 12 months and older are eligible for routine, on-time vaccination
