Yet another PlayStation Plus Essential game for April leaks
Following last week’s leak pointing to Souls-like action-RPG Lords of the Fallen as April’s PlayStation Plus Essential headliner, word of a second game in the line-up has emerged.
According to Dealabs’ extremely reliable Billbil-kun, April’s PS Plus Essential list will also include Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream, which originally launched to mixed reviews back in 2024. Fractured Daydream is something of a 10th anniversary celebration for Sword Art Online, bringing together 21 characters from across the series in a solo mode, story mode, and online mode featuring challenging fights for up to 20 players.
There’s not much more to report beyond Fractured Daydream’s apparent inclusion in April’s PlayStation Plus Essential line-up, but it should arrive alongside previously leaked headliner Lords of the Fallen. Specifically, it’s developer Hexworks’ 2023 Lords of the Fallen that’s supposedly on the way, rather than the 2014 original.
Expect Sony to officially announce April’s PlayStation Plus line-up in the not-too-distant future. The refreshed list will replace March’s offerings – PGA Tour 2K25, Monster Hunter Rise, Slime Rancher 2, and The Elder Scrolls Online Collection: Gold Road – so if you haven’t already done so, you should grab anything of interest ASAP.
