Brown University Health enacts mask mandate amid rise in respiratory viruses
Brown University Health announced it is moving to respiratory status yellow across all facilities starting on Thursday, due to high transmission rates of respiratory viruses.
Surgical masks will be required for patients, visitors and staff during direct patient care.
Staff will also wear a Level 2 surgical mask or an N95.
