TAIPEI, Taiwan, March 17, 2026 — ASUS is proud to announce the launch of the 2026 TUF Gaming A16, F16, and A18 gaming laptops. The TUF Gaming A16 and F16 boast two impressive display options, either a gorgeous 2.5K 165Hz OLED panel or an ultrafast 2.5K 300Hz IPS display. The TUF Gaming F16 also comes equipped with the all-new Intel® Core™ Ultra 9 processor 290HX Plus. The larger TUF Gaming A18 sports up to an NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 5070 Ti Laptop GPU and a lightning-fast 2.5K 300Hz IPS display for a truly impressive and immersive gaming experience.
16-inch upgrades
The 16‑inch TUF Gaming A16 and F16 receive major upgrades this generation, headlined by two premium new display configurations designed to elevate both immersion and competitive play. Users can choose between up to a stunning 2.5K 165Hz OLED panel, or an ultrafast 2.5K 300Hz IPS panel enhanced with ACR anti‑reflection technology for clearer visibility in bright environments. This advanced coating significantly reduces glare while preserving color accuracy and contrast even when viewed at off angles, ensuring gameplay remains sharp and distraction‑free and increasing immersion across the user’s entire gaming library.
The TUF Gaming F16 also introduces the brand‑new Intel Core Ultra 9 processor 290HX Plus paired with up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU, bringing improved multi‑threaded throughput, better efficiency, and smoother performance across modern titles and creative workflows. Powerhouse performance is also on tap with the A16, featuring up to an AMD Ryzen™ 9 8940HX processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU. Paired with the fast new display options and the reliable build quality TUF Gaming is known for, the A16 and F16 deliver a robust combination of speed, durability, and visual excellence.
A refreshed TUF Gaming A18
The refreshed 2026 TUF Gaming A18 pushes performance even further with hardware tuned for high‑end gaming. The 2026 TUF Gaming A18 supports configurations with an AMD Ryzen 9 8940HX processor and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Laptop GPU, offering a substantial boost in rasterization and ray‑tracing performance for demanding AAA titles, with support for the latest DLSS 4 technologies including Multi Frame Generation. Complementing this power is a brand‑new 18-inch 2.5K 300Hz IPS display with ACR anti‑reflection technology, allowing players to fully appreciate high frame rates and crisp motion clarity — even in challenging lighting conditions.
To accommodate its new higher‑end GPU, the TUF Gaming A18 has also implemented a revamped thermal solution. The A18 now features second-generation Arc Flow Fans, with an increased fan height that enables more airflow compared to the first generation. These new fans also reduce fan noise in Turbo Mode from 50dB to just 45dB for a quieter gaming experience.
The A18 also boasts a full-width heatsink, a redesigned heat-pipe system with more complete coverage, and optimized airflow pathways to ensure consistent cooling performance during extended gaming sessions.
