Bianca Belair injury update: Finger surgery scheduled

Bianca Belair, one of the brightest young stars on the WWE roster, has been out of action dating back to WrestleMania 41 last year. She broke her knuckle in a match and has been having issues with mobility in her fingers.

Back in November, which was already six months into her recovery process, she mentioned her body “not doing what it’s supposed to do” while remaining hopeful she would be back in the ring “soon.” It’s now February of the next year and there hasn’t been much in the way of updates on her progress.

In that regard, she posted the following to her Instagram stories a short time ago:

“Finger surgery tomorrow.”

The timing here is about as frustrating as it gets, considering she has now missed multiple major events on the road to WrestleMania 42. Even if she was healthy enough for it, it’s hard to imagine her making the card.

Let’s hope she finally recovers and gets back to doing what she loves much sooner rather than later. We’ll all be better off for it. After all, there’s only so much fun she can have taking credit for her husband’s weight gain, right?
