As Netflix prepares for another hunting season, Brittany Snow is praising Malin Akerman‘s behind-the-scenes etiquette while filming intimate scenes.
The actress revealed that she and her The Hunting Wives co-star got sick after they “ate too many mints” during their sex scenes, because they were “so mindful of each other” on set.
“There were so many mints on that set, to the point where we got, both of us got sick,” said Snow on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast.
“As women, you’re so mindful of each other,” she continued. “Guys, they sometimes don’t care. There’s not a mint in their mouth. But with Malin and I, it was like, ‘Are you OK? Can I put my hand here?’ It was just so nice and so different.
Snow added, “It’s people-pleasing too. [Akerman’s] like, ‘Girl, I don’t care.’”
Noting “something really great about Malin,” Snow said, “She’s really, really attuned to what I was thinking or what other people were thinking in terms of comfortability.”
She explained that the Swedish actress is “more open with nudity,” whereas Snow was “more conscientious” about revealing herself onscreen. “And so, she’d be like, ‘Do you want me to put my body here so you don’t have to show this part of yourself?’ I was like, this is so selfless and nice.”
After Netflix renewed The Hunting Wives for Season 2 last month, Snow revealed Wednesday that filming begins “in two weeks” on the sophomore season.
