This was a tough game to watch. It was clear that Washington was the better team, but costly turnovers and missed tackles ultimately determined their fate as they fumbled away a victory Monday night.
One thing that has become quite evident to me is that the aging veteran signings are starting to catch up to Adam Peters, as key injuries have piled up and many of these vets have simply not performed (cough, cough – Bobby Wagner). If Dan Quinn hopes to make a serious playoff push, some things need to be cleaned up and some changes to the lineup need to be made!
Washington will look to get things turned around as they get set to take on a reeling Dallas team on the road Sunday afternoon on a short week.
