Exclusive: First look at Samsung’s 25W wireless charger, possibly for Galaxy S26
It was reported earlier that Samsung plans to introduce a major upgrade to wireless charging speeds with its future smartphones. The Galaxy S26 series supports up to 25W fast wireless charging. We are now bringing you an exclusive first look at Samsung’s 25W Qi2 charger.
Samsung’s most powerful wireless charger is called the Magnetic Wireless Charger, and its model number is EP-P2900BBEGWW. As its Qi2 25W logo suggests, it can deliver up to 25W of wireless charging power. It is expected to be available in a single color, and its full 25W output is likely supported only by the Galaxy S26 Ultra.

The charger features a USB Type-C port on one end and a circular magnetic wireless charging puck on the other. The cable appears to be nylon braided. Samsung recommends pairing it with a 45W USB Power Delivery charger. It is quite similar to Qi2 wireless charging pucks from other brands, including Apple.
If previous reports are correct, the Galaxy S26 and the Galaxy S26+ may support up to 20W of fast wireless charging with this charger.

Older Galaxy phones with Qi2 Ready certification, such as the Galaxy S25 and the Galaxy Z Fold 7, are also compatible with this charger. However, based on the information printed on the charger’s box, these devices are limited to a maximum of 15W of wireless charging.
