Fluffy Golden Retriever Gives the Most Offended Face After Being Called ‘Chonky’

Golden Retrievers are known for being easygoing and happy-go-lucky pups, and they’re happy and smiling through pretty much any situation. We’ve seen that play out time and again in videos online. But even they have their limits.

In this video, we meet a Golden Retriever who has found the limit, and as soon as it becomes known, the cute dog’s whole face changes. Instead of a relaxed expression on his face, he’s fully offended, and it’s secretly hilarious. Take a look at this cute boy!

On March 8, TikToker @thegoldenwafflehouse shared a short video of their beautiful Golden Retriever named Waffles. He was minding his own business and happy in his own world until his parents caught him walking into the kitchen.

In the clip, we don’t hear what’s happening, but the music is hysterical, given what we’re told is happening here. Waffles is chill, doing his thing until he turns his head to the right to look at the person behind the camera. He’s mad with a Golden Retriever scowl, which is, honestly, not always easy to come by since they’re essentially happy puppies for life.

They called him “chonky,” and it’s the cutest, funniest thing. In the comments, people were happy to shower Waffles with love, while laughing, of course.

One person wrote, “Don’t listen to them Waffles [you are] perfect.”

Another shared, “Aww, Waffles, you look perfect to me,” adding a few blue heart emojis at the end.

Other comments included, “Well, just a little,” “Such a playful pup,” and Waffles’ family made sure to reply to everyone with laughing emojis and hearts.

Golden Retrievers Are Known for Their Personalities

Waffles has the most adorable personality, and we can see that shine through not just in this video but in each one posted to their social media. And if you’ve been around a Golden Retriever or seen one on social media, you’ll know their go-getter, happy personality is pretty common with this pup!

According to PetPlan UK, Golden Retrievers are a popular dog breed because they love to have fun, aren’t afraid to work hard, and get along with basically anyone and anything. The site explains that these dogs are “naturally intelligent” and that they have a “soft side.” But they’re also great with kids of all ages, rarely show aggression, and when you add in that they love to cuddle or go on long adventures, these pups are game to do anything and everything.

And, as we see with Waffles, they’ve got a great personality, too.
