Four contestants test their creativity to make Rogue Traders and retinues on Scrap Demon

Not to say that you shouldn’t have some kind of vague plan, but you definitely don’t need one to make something epic… or, several epic things! I’ve watched loads of Scrap Demon episodes before, but was pleasantly surprised to discover that rather than create one big model, we had to create a whole squad instead. This meant I was even less worried about having a strong plan as I had six attempts to make something awesome. Throw enough things at the wall and eventually something will stick… Just don’t forget the plastic glue!

Ben: Clearly what you don’t do is just charge headlong in there, excitedly grabbing as many bits as you can because they look cool, or happen to be within reach, and then hope for the best! No sir, that’s not me. I’m a very meticulous planner…

Alright, this is a lie. Plans lead to things like following instructions or knowing where you’re going, and they don’t lead to Chaos. No, I prefer to sail more whimsical seas. Bring on the Warp, bring on the wonkiness, bring on the last-minute adrenaline rush that leads to desperate action!
