Golden Retriever Can’t Find His Ball, Which Is in the Most Obvious Place Possible

If you have a young dog at home, somewhere in between being a puppy and being a full-grown dog, you know they can do some very cute and sometimes goofy things. This Golden Retriever named Phin is the perfect example of this, and his antics are guaranteed to make you smile.

Kristie Ziegler shared a clip of Phin on Instagram recently, and it just might be the cutest thing you see today. It shows Phin, who had been playing with his ball, but somehow misplaces it. Watch as he looks around for it and then seems to be surprised when he spots it in the most obvious place possible!

We laughed when Kristie shared in the caption, “I wish I was making this up LOL!” We’re just glad she was able to record it so we could all enjoy it!

Funny Reactions to Phin’s Complete Lack of Awareness

Like us, viewers got a kick out of watching Phin look for his ball, which just so happened to be in the most obvious spot possible. But his lack of awareness is also extremely relatable. @katter1985 admitted, “Looks like me when I can’t find my sunglasses while wearing them…”

We laughed when @Burke Wayne the Golden said, “All I see is a dog that found the ball.” Sounds like someone’s guilty of doing the same thing!

Another commenter replied the same when you’re holding your phone and looking for it, and @katter1985 responded, “I do that all the time! Sitting with phone scrolling and thinking, ‘I need to Google something. Where’s my phone?’”

@suetorres2022 wasn’t wrong when she said, “If he hadn’t kicked it, he’d still be looking for it…”

“And they are called Golden RETRIEVER with the top 4th wit level among all dog species ummmmmm… LOL,” joked @howingsumm. Kristie replied, “‘Ummmm’ is right LOL! He can be SO smart sometimes and other times…”

@sammy91093 shared, “My pup literally puts his ball WHERE HE CAN’T REACH IT and then whines until he gets it back. DAILY.” The same thing happens at our house, too!
