Here’s the Eagles’ asking price for a Patriots A.J. Brown trade
New England Patriots
“In their minds, it’s a Quinnen Williams-type deal.”
If the Patriots want to make a deal with the Eagles for wide receiver A.J. Brown, New England’s front office may have to fly a little higher to meet the asking price.
Following a Super Bowl loss in which the Patriots’ passing game failed to get going, speculation has already begun about potential offseason additions. One name that continues to be mentioned is Brown, the 28-year-old Eagles wideout who multiple reports have already indicated is a possible Patriots trade target.
Unfortunately for the Patriots, the price appears to be fairly high. According to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, Philadelphia will want more in return for Brown than what the Eagles sent to the Titans in 2022 to acquire him.
“My understanding is teams are making offers to the Eagles for a trade,” Garafolo explained on Wednesday. “To this point, they have not gotten to the point at which the Eagles would make a move.
“In their minds, it’s a Quinnen Williams-type deal,” he added. “We’re talking a potential first-round pick with a second-round sweetener on it. That’s kind of where it is for the Eagles to start to consider moving A.J. Brown. If they don’t get close to that point or to that point, I don’t think [Eagles general manager] Howie Roseman moves him. I think he keeps A.J. Brown in the fold. He’s a really good player. He is highly valued inside that building.”

Brown totaled 78 catches for 1,003 receiving yards and seven touchdowns for the Eagles during the 2025 season. Since entering the NFL, he’s crossed the 1,000 receiving yard threshold in six of his seven seasons.
In terms of a potential Patriots deal, a major factor (as has been discussed) is the relationship of Brown with Mike Vrabel. New England’s head coach was in Tennessee when Brown was originally drafted, and the two have spoken positively about each other as the trade rumors have simmered.
As for the Eagles, time will tell if Philadelphia can fetch more for Brown in a current deal than was sent to the Titans in ’22 (when Philadelphia sent a first and a third-round pick in return for the playmaking wide receiver).
