Imperfect Women’s first two episodes now available on Apple TV
Apple just released the first two episodes of its new psychological thriller starring Kerry Washington (Ray), Elisabeth Moss (The Invisible Man), and Kate Mara (The Astronaut). Here’s what to expect from the limited series.
New episodes set to drop every Wednesday
For the past few weeks, Apple has been promoting Imperfect Women with events including a Today at Apple session at Apple The Grove, and a world premiere gala at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, both in Los Angeles.
The show, which also stars Corey Stoll (Midnight in Paris), Leslie Odom Jr. (Hamilton), Sheryl Lee Ralph (Abbott Elementary), and Joel Kinnaman (For All Mankind), among others, will run through April 29, with episodes dropping every Wednesday.
According to Apple, here’s what to expect from Imperfect Women:
Based on Araminta Hall’s novel of the same name, “Imperfect Women” examines a crime that shatters the lives of three women in a decades-long friendship. The unconventional thriller explores guilt and retribution, love and betrayal, and the compromises we make that irrevocably alter our lives. As the investigation unravels, so does the truth about how even the closest friendships may not be what they seem.

Apple has also published the show’s opening scene, which you can find here.
If the first reviews of the show are anything to go by, Imperfect Women could be a hit for audiences who are into what AV Club defined as “the murder-mystery format”. You can read more about Imperfect Women’s early reviews here.
