Influencer “Clavicular” arrested in Fort Lauderdale on battery charge as Everglades wildlife investigation unfolds

An online streamer and influencer known as Clavicular was arrested by Fort Lauderdale police on a battery charge on Friday, according to investigators.

The charge for Clavicular, whose real name is Braden Eric Peters, stems from a case out of Osceola County, just south of Orlando, according to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.

The sheriff’s office said that deputies responded to an Airbnb in Kissimmee in reference to a battery investigation on Feb. 2.

The deputies said that a 19-year-old woman reported that she had been battered by 24-year-old Violet Marie Lentz.

The incident allegedly occurred inside a residence that was rented out by Peters, 20.

The sheriff’s office said that the victim was battered by Lentz during a physical altercation.

Investigators said they were able to determine that Peters instigated the fight between the victim and Lentz and posted it on social media to exploit the women.

When deputies arrived at the home to investigate, the sheriff’s office said that neither Peters nor Lentz would come outside to speak about the incident.

The investigation continued, and the sheriff’s office said that they spoke with witnesses and reviewed video.

After the investigation, an arrest warrant was issued for Peters for misdemeanor battery and criminal conspiracy to commit battery.

A warrant was also issued for Lentz for misdemeanor battery.

Peters was then arrested by the Fort Lauderdale Police Department, and investigators are still searching for Lentz.

According to reports, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) is also looking into allegations that Clavicular was involved in the shooting of an alligator in the Florida Everglades.

“The FWC is aware of a video depicting individuals in the Everglades on an airboat who appear to be discharging firearms at an alligator,” the FWC said in a post on X. “FWC officers are looking into the incident and will provide additional information when available.
