Jelly Roll recently revealed “one of the worst moments” of his life when he cheated on Bunnie Xo.

The country star spoke on the topic during an appearance on the Human School podcast.

“One of the worst moments of my adulthood was when I had an affair on my wife,” Jelly Roll said.

The infidelity took place in 2018.

“It was the first time that I was like, ‘I really can’t get this right at all,’” Jelly Roll said. “Like, I know I’m in love with this woman. You know what I mean? It just really, really, really blew me back,” the singer admits.”

Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo, who have been married for the past eight years, have done a lot of work to repair their relationship, the singer said.

“I wish our story would have went in the way where it never had an affair, and I’m in no way glad it happened. But man, I’m proud of who we are today.”

The infidelity took place Bunnie Xo moved from Nashville back to Las Vegas. The breakup was a result of the affair.

These days, Jelly Roll points to a moment which is a constant reminder of keeping the line of communication open in their relationship.

During a trip, he said he frustrated when Bunnie Xo called him multiple times. She was struggling because of the hormonal treatments from and stress caused by their current IVF and surrogacy journey.

“By the end of the night, she’s like, ‘I feel like we’ve hardly talked today,’” he said.

“And in that moment, I know that she’s nervous about this thing. She’s hormonal, she needs security right now. She needs me to go, ‘Baby, I’ll talk to you all night if you want to.’ But instead she got the, ‘Bunnie, we talked seven times today.’”

He soon realized where he went wrong.

“I woke up and the first thing I did was repair. I send a text like, ‘Yo, completely tone deaf moment on me… I was so in my own s–t I didn’t care about you. How I really feel is I love you and we’re gonna be good,’” he explains on the podcast.
