Katy Perry and former Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau may have just confirmed their rumored romance. In photos obtained by the Daily Mail, the couple can be seen getting handsy and making out on the top deck of Perry’s yacht, the Caravelle, off the coast of Santa Barbara. Looks like their relationship hasn’t “cooled off” after all.
Apparently, the photos were taken at “the end of last month” by a passenger aboard “a small public whale-watching boat.” “I didn’t realize who [Perry] was with until I saw the tattoo on the guy’s arm and I immediately realized it was Justin Trudeau,” the source told the tabloid, likely referring to the Haida raven tattoo on his shoulder. Besides traipsing around the yacht without a shirt on, Trudeau was also wearing jeans (?). Now that’s a sighting.
While a source told the tabloid in August that Perry “isn’t ready to start dating anyone right now,” it sure looks like things are going well between them. The pair were first romantically linked back in July when they were spotted out at Le Violon restaurant in Montreal. A couple days later, Trudeau was front and center at Perry’s Lifetimes show with his 16-year-old daughter Ella-Grace, having the time of his life and mouthing the words to “Firework.” I’m sure it won’t be long until he snags an invite to Jeff Bezos’s superyacht.
