As she marks another trip around the sun, Kim Kardashian knows she deserves no less than a princess. So, she’s sending home that message by dressing like one too.
Today, the Skims founder celebrates her 45th birthday, but she also celebrates the release of her new Ryan Murphy-produced legal drama, All’s Fair, which had its French premiere at the Maison de La Chimie in Paris this evening.
For the red-carpet event, Kardashian commemorated all the festivities by putting together a fabulous icy-blue look that she and her stylist, Dani Levi, pulled from the archives.

Like a modern-day belle of the ball, the reality star wore a Cinderella-esque dress that originally appeared as a part of the Dior Spring/Summer 2000 collection by John Galliano.

The plunging, V-neck design may have given princess vibes, but it also offered a bit of an edge, thanks to its deconstructed framework. All across the asymmetrical piece, strips of fabric were stitched together like patches, and the material was decorated with orbs of floral lace and geometric lines.
Around the rear, the drooping material left Kardashian’s back bare, save for one strip that stretched across her shoulder blades. Meanwhile, the bodice was skintight, and it flared out into a mermaid skirt, while a visible zipper closed the gown up in the front.

Kardashian completed the look with diamond Repossi jewelry from the Serti Sur Vide collection, and she tied her hair up into a knotty bun around back.
With Disney acting as one of the producers of All’s Fair, it makes sense why Kardashian would pay homage to one of the company’s most iconic movies. Of course, when you’re the birthday girl, you don’t need an excuse to dress like royalty.
