Kirksville weed dispensary tears down previous building to make parking lot

KIRKSVILLE, Mo. — A longtime building at a busy Kirksville intersection is now history.

Key Cannabis, a weed dispensary at the corner of Baltimore and Illinois streets, has moved into a new, bigger building it recently had constructed right behind the old building it just had torn down Thursday.

Manager Kristen Heldenbrand told KTVO that the demolition process will continue into next week.

After that, the site where the previous building stood will be repaved to make more parking for the business.

The demolished building was 50 years old. Many people probably remember it was home to Pfeiffer Chiropractic Health Clinic for many years as well as a previous location of Tina’s Hairport.
