Margot Robbie, Jacob Elordi & More
One of the literary world’s most revered romances has made its way to Hollywood with the world premieres of Emerald Fennell’s Wuthering Heights.
The writer/director walked the red carpet on Wednesday at the TCL Chinese Theatre, along with cast members Margot Robbie, Jacob Elordi, Hong Chau, Alison Oliver, Shazad Latif and more, celebrating their adaptation of Emily Brontë’s 1847 novel.
Also in attendance were Charli xcx, Kathryn Newton, Gideon Adlon, Kate Berlant and more.
With Fennell admitting to taking creative liberties, the title is styled “Wuthering Heights” with quotation marks because “you can’t adapt a book as dense and complicated and difficult as this book.”
“I can’t say I’m making Wuthering Heights. It’s not possible. What I can say is I’m making a version of it,” she told Fandango.
