It feels like 2025 began just a few months ago, yet somehow the holiday season is back again. Families are shopping and unpacking holiday decorations, and many areas are getting their first snowfall of the year. It’s already a magical season, but one tiny cow is ready to make a little more Christmas magic.

Meet Comet! This little Highland calf is as cute as can be in her tiny Carhartt jacket, but a set of reindeer antlers was the perfect final touch to her festive look. She brings a little holiday magic everywhere she goes.

She’s Santa’s cutest reindeer, that’s for sure! Not only does the tiny cow have the cutest snowy-white coat and a dreamy personality, but she also has the perfect name for this time of year. Comet, the reindeer, better watch out before this cute calf takes their spot pulling Santa’s sleigh!

Mini Highland calves like Comet may be adorable, but they’re not truly miniature versions of Highland cows. This breed is already one of the smallest kinds of cows, and some breeders have purposely bred them smaller and smaller. Of course, they’re even smaller when they’re young, like Comet is, but there’s no separate ‘miniature’ cow breed like some posts may imply.

Regardless of what she is, Comet the Highland cow couldn’t be cuter! She’s the perfect gal to spread Christmas cheer, whether she’s in or out of costume, and she went viral at the perfect time.
