The entertainment world is heartbroken over the loss of rising actress Isabelle Tate, best known for her role in “9-1-1: Nashville.” The 23-year-old performer’s death was confirmed by her talent agency on October 21, just days after she passed away.
“We are deeply saddened and completely heartbroken to share that Isabelle Tate passed away on October 19th. She was 23,” the agency wrote in a Facebook post. “I’ve known Izzy since she was a teenager, and she recently returned to acting. She booked the first series she auditioned for, 9-1-1: Nashville. She had a wonderful time. … My heart goes out to her wonderful mother @katerinataterealtor, her sister Daniella, family, and friends. I was so lucky to know her, and she will be greatly missed by so many.”
Remembering Isabelle Tate’s Life & Career
Born on August 8, 2002, in Nashville, Tennessee, Isabelle Adora Tate was raised in Franklin, where she quickly became known for her warmth, intelligence, and vibrant personality. As per details provided in her obituary, after earning her bachelor’s degree in business from Middle Tennessee State University, she followed her heart into the world of performing arts.
Tate portrayed Julie in the pilot episode of “9-1-1: Nashville,” the newest addition to the popular “9-1-1” franchise featuring Chris O’Donnell, Jessica Capshaw, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, and LeAnn Rimes. In the episode, her character was part of a bachelorette group involved in a devastating crash on Broadway, a storyline praised by fans for its emotional depth and realism.
Her obituary remembered her as a young woman driven by purpose and compassion. “Isabelle loved volunteering her time to all things, particularly animals — her idea of a fun outing was visiting an animal shelter and doling out lots of love,” the tribute read. “What she loved most, though, was spending time with family and friends, always the life of the party.”
A Loving Daughter, Sister & Friend
Tate is survived by her mother, Katerina Kazakos Tate; stepfather, Vishnu Jayamohan; father, John Daniel Tate; and sister, Daniella Tate. The family will host a visitation and funeral service on October 24, 2025, at Forest Hills Methodist Church in Brentwood, Tennessee.
Instead of flowers, donations may be made in Isabelle’s memory to the Charcot-Marie-Tooth Association (CMTA) at cmtausa.org/donate. The organization supports research for the rare multisystem disease, which causes progressive muscle weakness and sensory loss.
