Each team has a new custom court for Emirates NBA Cup 2025.
The NBA unveiled today all 30 floor designs for the third edition of the tournament, which tips off Oct. 31, with an 8-game slate on Prime Video and NBA League Pass.
Designed by artist Victor Solomon, the courts feature fully-painted gradient designs, personalized overlays for each team, and hidden details for the two previous NBA Cup champions, in addition to other unique features. Solomon also created the courts for last season’s tournament and collaborated with Tiffany & Co. to design the NBA Cup trophy.
Here are more details on the court designs for Emirates NBA Cup 2025:
- Team-Based Gradient: Each court features a gradient rooted in the host team’s core color. The gradient is angled, with its direction determined by the team’s conference alignment, Eastern or Western, adding a subtle layer of structure and symbolism.
- Contrasting Apron Design: The court apron features the host team’s Nike NBA Statement Edition uniform color, which will be worn by all home teams. Away teams, on the other hand, will wear Nike NBA Association Edition uniforms for Emirates NBA Cup games.
- 5×5 Mosaic Grid: A symbolic 5×5 grid overlays the court, representing both the five players on the floor and the five teams in each tournament group.
- Center Court Cities: Each court prominently displays the team’s city or state name at center court, with the team nickname or full name featured on the baselines.
- Personalized Overlay: All 30 courts feature a unique logo, wordmark or graphic overlay that celebrates individual team identities.
- Hidden Details: Engraved on the base of the trophy at center court inside the Milwaukee Bucks and Los Angeles Lakers arena is the year each team won the Cup.
Group Play action begins next week and runs through Nov. 28 with matchups every Friday. Then, eight teams advance to the Knockout Rounds, followed by the Semifinals and Finals in Las Vegas on December 13 and 16. Full details are available here.
