New Pokemon Winds and Waves beta screenshot leaked

Another leaked beta screenshot has surfaced for Pokemon Winds and Pokemon Waves. The image specifically comes from a build made a couple of years ago.

Obviously the final game won’t look like what’s in the screenshot. If nothing else, it’s an interesting peek behind the curtain. What’s interesting is that the screenshot was taken during a point when the project was still targeting Nintendo Switch instead of Switch 2.

Below is the latest beta screenshot leak for Pokemon Winds and Waves:

If you’re wondering where this screenshot comes from, it’s from the same Game Freak data leak (or Teraleak) that took place in 2024. We have a few extra images that were shared just before the reveal of Winds and Waves here.

For those that are unaware, towards the end of last year, tons of information about upcoming Pokemon projects started to come in from that same Game Freak leak. You can find details about Pokemon Winds and Waves here, but keep in mind that much of the information has yet to be confirmed. The same goes for future projects well into the future here. And for Pokemon Pokopia fans, we have a look at the prototype here, and you’ll see that it was very different back then.

Pokemon Winds and Pokemon Waves will be on Nintendo Switch 2 in 2027.
