Keith Urban, who? That’s what Nicole Kidman appeared to be saying as she opened the Vogue World: Hollywood show on Oct. 27 at the Paramount Studios lot in Los Angeles.
The 58-year-old actress’ Old Hollywood glamour was a tribute to the legend Rita Hayworth from the 1946 classic film, Gilda. Kidman was a true screen siren in a gown by Chanel that was a nod to the wardrobe Hayworth wore in the film — a chicly tailored black dress with soft waves in her hair and a bold, red lip.

Kidman strutted confidently down the makeshift runway and sang Hayworth’s iconic song, “Put the Blame on Mame” from Gilda, with Baz Luhrmann playing the role as a director on the set.

“We come to this place…for magic. Paramount Studios, that is. #VogueWorld: Hollywood is officially underway with none other than November cover star @NicoleKidman singing a special rendition of ‘Put the Blame on Mame,’” the Vogue Magazine post shared in an Instagram caption.
After her 19-year marriage to Urban collapsed in late September, a People source shared that the Oscar winner is only focusing on “her family and her work” because it brings her joy. “She isn’t someone who dwells on regrets — she believes everything happens for a reason,” they revealed while noting that she is “keeping it positive.”
Kidman has a lot to celebrate since she is booked and busy with projects, including the long-awaited sequel to Practical Magic with Sandra Bullock and the third season of Big Little Lies. “She has a great attitude and feels very grateful for her life,” the insider added.
Her daughters with Urban, Sunday, 17, and Faith, 14, are siding with their mom right now as everyone adjusts to their new normal. “Sunday and Faith love their dad dearly, but they’re feeling very loyal to their mom right now, and they’ve made it their mission to be by her side,” according to a Star Magazine source.
With Urban keeping a much lower profile amid the divorce and his rumored affair (which has not been confirmed), Kidman looks like she is sending the ultimate message to her ex. Her next chapter looks brighter than ever.
