Nine Players Reject Qualifying Offer
The deadline to accept the qualifying offer has passed. Four players – Trent Grisham, Gleyber Torres, Brandon Woodruff, and Shota Imanaga – chose to accept the one-year, $22.025MM deal and remain with their current clubs. The remaining nine players rejected the deal. They are: Kyle Tucker, Kyle Schwarber, Bo Bichette, Framber Valdez, Dylan Cease, Ranger Suarez, Edwin Diaz, Zac Gallen, and Michael King. All nine are now free agents.
