To recap, the Snapdragon 8 Elite helped the OnePlus 13 average 3,087 and 9,369 in Geekbench 6’s single-core and multi-core benchmarks, respectively. For context, these scores are slightly higher than the median of Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered devices we have tested, albeit by marginal levels in both cases. By contrast, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 inside the OnePlus 15 delivers a 17% single-core boost on the OnePlus 13 with a 9.5% multi-core score improvement.
It is worth noting that these scores fall short of Qualcomm’s Reference Design and the RedMagic 11 Pro. Potentially, this could be attributed to the OnePlus 15 likely running pre-release software that is not fully optimised. Moreover, Qualcomm’s Reference Devices tend to outperform all retail smartphones using the same chipsets. Incidentally, Geekbench confirms that the OnePlus 15 will start out with 12 GB of RAM, too. If its predecessor is anything to go by, then OnePlus will also offer a second memory configuration with at least 16 GB of RAM at its disposal.
