OSU expected to name new university leader Thursday
COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — Ohio State University’s Board of Trustees is set to announce the university’s next leader Thursday morning, following the abrupt resignation of President Ted Carter.
A university spokesperson said a Board of Trustees meeting has been scheduled for 9 a.m. to make the announcement.
The development comes after Carter announced his resignation on Monday. The university said Carter was confronted about an inappropriate relationship, admitted to it and resigned.
The relationship involves a podcast that promotes issues involving veterans and was sponsored by JobsOhio. Details of that relationship have not been released.
