Phenom showcases new ordered tier list for Street Fighter 6

NIP|Phenom recently decided to release a new ordered tier list for Street Fighter 6 as a way of celebrating the holiday season. This tier list is seemingly accounting for the balance patch that dropped for Street Fighter 6 earlier this month that nerfed Mai while buffing Sagat and Elena.

Characters have been arranged into the S tier, A+ tier, A tier and B+ tier categories. The only character that is still unranked on Phenom’s list is C. Viper as she was only recently released back in October.

Phenom has indicated that Ed is now the strongest character in the game. However, the nerfs to Mai have only resulted in her becoming the second strongest choice.

Other characters that can be found in the S tier group include Ryu, Akuma, Terry, Blanka and JP. Out of all of these S tier combatants, only Mai received nerfs in the latest update, but it’s likely that at least some of them will receive changes after the Capcom Cup 2025 Finals.

According to Phenom, Dhalsim, Manon, Lily, E. Honda, Ken, Jamie and Marisa are struggling a good bit as they’ve all been positioned at the very bottom of the list.

Sagat’s buffs have seemingly made it so that he is now the second highest character in the A+ tier group after M. Bison. However, it would seem that over half of the characters in Street Fighter 6 are still better choices than Elena.
