While all the celebrities are moving to the UK, it seems the disgraced prince, Prince Andrew, and his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, may jump ship. For those who don’t know, Ferguson and Andrew started a relationship in 1985, and then, they were married on July 23, 1986, at Westminster Abbey. They welcomed two children named Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie. While they divorced in 1996, they’ve remained extremely close, and she even resides in the Royal Lodge with him. But now, it seems they’re also in talks to flee together.

Author of a biography, Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York, Andrew Lownie discussed how the former couple, told Hello! via InStyle that the pair will be “under the radar” if they choose to leave Royal Lodge, despite having a lease that lasts until 2078, they’ll leave the UK.

Many are pressuring them to leave the royal family, especially after their title were stripped amid the sexual abuse accusations, which were resurfaced again after Virginia Giuffre, who alleged she was sex trafficked by Jeffrey Epstein to Andrew, released her long-awaited, posthumously-released memoir, NOBODY’S GIRL.

Lownie theorized that Ferguson will move to Switzerland, where the family once owned a Verbier chalet, and that since William is taking the reins more and more, Andrew is “probably being encouraged to go to his palace in Abu Dhabi or to take up a Swiss nationality.” So maybe sooner rather than later, the Yorks will be out of the public eye for good.
